Cross country training

From the past few weeks we have been training for the final cross country competition.

At my old school i came 1st in yr 6 and 3rd in girls. When I was running i got so scared i said i'm gonna see if Katrina wants to race me, as soon as i asked her she said yes but not today well race before we actually have the finals OK and i said yup deal, As I was running why talking to her i said i need to make a move and speed up. As i was speeding up i went by like 20 people.


The Final Cross Country

When me and Katrina had a race on the finals. The day that the finals have happened I said to Katrina '' Hey you still want to race or nah" and Katrina said yup okay ready go as I was racing her towards the practising finish line I said hey Katrina we're nearly there and me speeding past her she looked so horrified. I was like ill go a little slower and she said nah carry on and when I got to the finish line I was like that was a good practice for me.

When the competition started I was like when is our turn and we all had to wait until the year ones all the way till year six and then it was year seven and all I hear was storm storm and I was looking around Than I saw my mum and she said I have to take u doctors now get your stuff and I was like OH and said bye to my friends and teachers and said see you tomorrow.

Sausage kebab


today me and my buddy made sausage kebabs.

Ingredients -
skiwwers
purple onion
capsicum
red sausage
brown sausage

Step 1 -  slice the sausage into small pieces.
Step 2 - Slice the red pepper and red onion.
Step 3 -  Next put the red sausage, capsicum, brown sausage and purple onion on the skiwwers
Step 4 -  after that lay it flat on the baking tin and bake it for 15 minutes at 200'c.
Step 5 - Then the second to last step clean up.
The final step sit down and enjoy your meal.

Ham and pasta salad

Today i made  ham and pasta salad with my buddy Tiari, and this is how to make it.

ingredients:
pasta
tamato
ham
onion
mayo
Step 1 - boil pasta until its soft and cooked.
Step 2 -drain in cold water.
Step three - dice tomato and ham.
Step four - add all, tamato, ham,  pasta, and mayo.
Step five - serve on white bowl, take a photo before eat.
Step six - clean up.

Skipping Training

This term, my class Room 12 has been practising skipping, so we can perform our skills in front of the whole school.

In my group there are 8 of us including myself.
For the first act we are going to do Fortnite emotes, next we are going to do double-unders, third we are going to do double dutch and for the last act  we are going to do a bow and a dab. That's all we have going on for our choreography.

On Wednesday the 1st of august Ruapotaka school had some special visitors come to our school to talk about the Maori myths and legends they even acted it out for us.

There were three people that got chosen to do a game with Taiahas it was to see if they had good memory and to see if they have they had good listening skills. Lucky was acting out the moves they had to do. The people that went up was Mr Reid, Texas and Kingston they were good at the game but the last move they had to do was kind of hard for them. They were just about to leave and lucky said a joke to us and it was so funny, he even had good hearing, and memory.

Cooking at tech. butter chicken

Today me and my buddy tiari made butter chicken. i knew how to make in the first place but its good to see how to make it from a different.

ingredients:
chicken
salt
sauce
onion
whipped cream

Steps:
step one - dice the chicken.
step two - fry the chicken with onion until brown.
step three - tip the chicken into a bowl.
step four -  fry the onion till brown
step five - put the sauce, chicken  and whipped cream into the pot until you see the butter chicken is a nice paste.
step five - lastly serve with rice.
