Anzac Service At Ruapotaka School

On the 12th of April Ruapotaka School had our own service for Anzac.

If you have no idea what Anzac is, Anzac is a day to remember the soldiers who fall for our country.  First we sang the national anthem, our school prayer and our whole school song.

After that we had the special guest come up to bring all the kids to the front, who had a poem, story or art work to share about Anzac. Lastly we had a 1 minute silence and then we were all free to go.

  1. Hello storm, I am Rebekah from Parkview Parua school!
I really like how you explained what happened, and what ANZAC day actually is. Maybe next time you could have worded the way you said that you left a little differently, you made it sound like you didn't want to be there. What were some of your favorite things that were shown?
