Measles Outbreak Hits New Zealand

On September the 1st, New Zealand had a massive outbreak of measles.

The measles have mostly affected children younger than five and those aged between 15 and 29. Auckland Regional Public Health Service has said that New Zealand has now lost immunity against measles.

There will be more people in the hospital in a few more days or weeks trying to cure people with the measles. Measles are very contagious so when one person is infected, it could spread to about 15 or more people when they cough or sneeze.
